Open Call decision

Following 296 national and international submissions, the Hallstatt AIR artists selected by a jury will be presented to the public at the start of the residency from 25.05. – 24.06.2021.
Five work scholarships are available, and a Japanese exchange artist will be invited to produce art for a month in the new and unique ambience of the Salzkammergut on this year’s theme of “Deep Passages”. The interdisciplinary artistic focus encompasses all contemporary art genres – from photography to film, music, performance, installation and fine art. The main aim of the funding program is the experimental exchange between the invited artists and with the location of Hallstatt.
